Felt the need for some cheery blooms to brighten up our little flat while my orchids are resting. I think these will do perfectly.

These are beautiful patterns. Amazing website http://vintagepatterns.wikia.com/wiki/Category:Givenchy has some great pattern pictures. All i want to do tomorrow is shop fabric, cut patterns and sew.
Local fabric market in Sham sha po had some great green linin with a japanese pattern I have my eye on. Far to busy colours for these looks but I am dreaming of a pencil skirt to team up with my kitted top I posted before! Lets see what happens tomorrow... A little message in todays sewing. Wanted to make something quick. Not sure if I should back it with felt or otherwise I think it will look quite cute on the from of a note book.
I really love http://www.subversivecrossstitch.com/ Guess I just wasnt brave enough this time.... Tomorrow... Our thank you albums to our wonderful Bridesmaid and Best Man are printed, arranged and posted! Been abit delayed but not forgotten.
Lovely walk from Wan Chai to Aberdeen. Walked up the steap Wan Chai Gap the downhill through the woods past calm and quiet reseviors. There was even mud so got my boots dirty. Definately reminds me of walking at home. These flowers have such thick lucious pettles I find it hard to believe they are real!
Well off home now to sew up some curtains for a friend. Got these cute fabrics about two years ago and I have still not done something with them.Well now that changes. I have trimmed them into jelly strips and they are ready to be used to make something beautiful. The tricky thing is deciding what project. I got Pam and Nicky Lintott's Jelly roll quilts book and there are so many lovely choices.
Focus today is orchids.....
Want to stitch one but just dont have the time. This felt one i have just made will go well on a hair clip and onky took the time ut takes to drink my cup to tea too.I think I might just be making a few more of these This is my current knit project. The back was finished on the weekend. Check out Sirdar Flirt DK patterns the are lovely. This wool has such an amazing fall and flop to the finished fabric. I just cant wait to have it completed!
Its a good morning when you have beads, thread an a little time to play! The metal ones are brass and the blue stone who knows, the colour just attracted me and I forgot to record what it was.
